Photographer’s Note
Circling the Holy Ka'bah (or Kaaba) in Masjidi'l Haram, Makkah, can be done in the first floor, I posted the picture here, or in the second and third floor. I took this picture from the second floor.
Doing it in the first floor will take about 30-45 minutes to finish the required seven circles in counter-clockwise direction, but it also takes greater effort as the biggest crowd is there.
Those who need special assistance with wheel-chair, or those who want to avoid the crowd usually circle the Ka'bah in the second or third floor, which usually take about an hour to finish. There's an alley specially made for them. Wheel-chairs can be rented for about USD.75-100 (in peak season like during Hajj), together with the pusher, to complete the seven circles.
