The Pyramid Lake resort has its own pontoon for guests & visitors alike. In the background is Pyramid Mountain. This beautiful lake is a short 10 minute drive from Jasper town. More info here:

A lovely spot to sit and contemplate the beautiful mountain scenery. The pontoon is well placed and brings a pleasing graphical element to the image. Very nice light and reflections. Excellent natural colours and superb clarity.

Olá Chris, great POV to enhance the fantastic balcony turned over the gorgeous scenery. I miss someone sat in there, but the colors and reflections all over make a wonderful image to look at.

A very eye-catching picture with an excellent composition and a beautiful reflection! I only think it's a bit over-exposed, something to be worked out! But nothing that spoils the beauty of this image in a pretty well done job!

Hi Chris,

The reflections in the water of the lake and the diagonal line of the pontoon are assets to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving depth to the photo. The details and colors of the scenery are clear and crisp. The light has a great effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

This is a great shot of this beautiful lake and surrounding landscape. The play of light and shadow on the mountains provide nice contrast. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The angle of the pier creates a nice diagonal which gives the shot a nice sense of direction.

Very thoughtfully placed pontoon to sit and drink in the beauty of the Rockies. This side of the pontoon must be protected from the breeze as the surface is smoother for reflections. The light dusting of snow enhances the mountain peaks (surprisingly little snow for October!) Well done

The fishermen are well treated To Jasper !!! Wonderful panorama, I will like to be sitted on one of these bench to admire the landscape, I think that I will spend the hours there. The natural light and colors are very beautiful. Thank you Chris.

Hello Chris,

I see you have posted a lot since last time I visited you!
I really don't know which one to prefer: they are all so fine!
I opened this one because I'm fascinated by water and the view here is really a superb one. I can't think of a better place to spend a holiday. And your composition is so wisely arranged.
You know something? Few years ago I met a Canadian couple who came here with their sailing boat (they are circling the world). I brought them a bit around my island to see its beauties and they were amazed. After a while they told me: but if you come to Cananda we dont' know what to show you! They were not kidding...
I'll have to visit your galleries more often...

Lovely lead-in with the pontoon. I would like to sit in one of these benches and admire the beauty...I'm sure you did the same. Fine reflection of the blue sky in the FG & like the snow on the peaks as well. Good work!
