Photographer’s Note
Autumn in Quebec. Magic of colors and river (Coulonge) where we paddeled during 6 days with ou frien and riverguide Pierre Desjardins. For us who live in europe, it is the unlimitedness of the big Canadian spaces that stand out most. We release ropes to live with the simple rythm of the river, the light and the wind. The indian summer period is a magic moment in this country. Alreaydy cold nights, early morning mists on the water and rocks, the sometime hot and blinding sun of noon and the subdued lights of the sunset. And then, the silence, the big silence whitch is not one, but whitch at first wraps and num the spirit, then whitch lets the ear distinguish the clapotit of waves, the rustle of waterfalls, the rustle of a bird who passes above the big trees... An impressing of plenitude, sensitive dumping in wild nature.
