Photographer’s Note
This is the view from the pier at Wrightsville Beach, NC at sunset. One of the problems with taking photos of the Atlantic Ocean at sunset, is the fact that the coast faces _east_. Nevertheless, the vast sense of infinity lying just beyond the horizon is still there, even if the brillant color of the sunset was behind me (to the west).
