Hello Kevin,
The buildings in the foreground provide an effective bracketing for the Transamerica Pyramid, which was just going up when I was a postdoc at UCal-Berkeley. I like the effect of the framing. You can make the image larger, a full 800x600 instead of 624x468 by simply saving it at a slightly lower quality (albeit imperceptible), as long as the file size is equal to or less than 300KB (it used to be 200).
Welcome to Trekearth.

Hi, Kevin, welcome to TE!
One of the more photographed buildings in San Francisco, of course, but this is a different angle. I like the lighting on the right side buildings, but the left side is too harsh; a bit of brushwork in post-processing could fix that. There is also a bit of wide angle distortion (not of the TA building itself, though), which you may or may not feel needs adjusting.
Keep posting!
Dan

This is one of the best shots I have seen of this building. Most are coming from Columbus Street view. I like the contrast of the dark buildings and the sunlight lit Trans-America Building.
I browsed throug your gallery and I like your architectural shots.
Have a nice day,
Andre'
