Photographer’s Note
Regards… regards du désir… regards de convoitise… regards de la crainte… trop d'atrocités faites dans une période si courte… mais le temps guérira, ou il?
Un plus du Week-end de temps de guerre dans Pickering.

I like the expression in your photo. There is some story between these people. Good B&W and row grain.
Thx for sharing

I love the expression of the woman. Yes this is the most interesting in photo, for me of course :D
Excellent grainy b&w.

Olá Robi, interesting catch. Instead of an expressive face filling the whole image we have a story to read here. Love the strong presence of the sign, almost disturbing, as well as the severe pose of D268. What makes it funny and interesting is the curiosity peeping from behind the sign - her face is for sure the best detail here.
cheers,

I'm sorry to be thick but the significance of the French note eludes me!
I see David Jason has a new role of copper in 1943. :D I love the part where the woman is straining to see over the sign. Another good entry in your series. (Why no theme?)

Hello Robi! What a series and I can only agree what Kath says that you have to make a little theme, I mean this is just so different that it is a waste to let them dive away into the wide TE ocean. It always amazes me that these things get not more attention but I mean what are points, but this is so so much better than most I see around TE that it still amazes me ... Oh what am I writing, I love the "exit only" thing in the foreground, THIS makes the difference and I guess most people would just go for the heads. I love how she looks over the sign, curious what goes on maybe. So good ... have a great evening ... Barbara.

Hi Robert,
This is apparently a moment when something clearly is going on! I enjoy the look of the policeman, he looks like directly cut ouf of a theater play!
Best regards

hello Robert,
another good one for your series fromPickering. I've not been on TE much lately so this is the first time I have browsed through them. I have enjoyed doing so. Good one of the policeman, looking for all the owrl like a real one with that expression in his face.

And, yet another one... Extremely delightful...
Taking us back quite a few decades and what a trip it is...
Marvelous presentation of something very special...
A nostalgia for the times when photography wasn't even invented yet... :-))))
Great stuff, buddy mate

Salut Robi,
Regards...

A very interesting shot, Robert. All the faces seem suspicious, but there's no apparent reason. "Exit Only"...from what? I think you caught the perfect moment for this one, to make it all a mystery. Regards, Ken.
