Photographer’s Note
This is a picture of a series of open escalators in the center of Macy's (The old Marshall Fields building) on state street in Chicago. I had to wait some time to be able to get a shot of just one person either coming up or going down. Since I didn't have my tripod, I braced against a post and took a number of burst shots to get one that was clear.
