Hello William
welcome on TE. In order to help you, I am going to criticize your shot which is not good.
First, the horizon is not horiziontal
then the boat is at the center of the picture, you should let more place in front of it
Third: the sea is more interesting than the backgroung (waves due to a stong wind), so you should have tilted you camera
