Photographer’s Note

Hello,
I activated myself again, after a long holidays lately, so I've decided to post one of the best picture I've made just an hours before the New Years Eve. This place is located in the Sofia region, 50 km away from the capital, and just 7 km away from the borderline with Serbia. Very beautiful place, especially this evening, when the light was gorgeous and the low mist made good graphic effect.

It is clear you like the winter a lot, you have so many pictures with snow.
Yes, I agree, the view is amazing, surprisingly very deep visibility.
It would be great to have one more photo from same location, but in May or June.

Snow in Bulgaria too ;-)
I like this pic and the sunset light.
You have to know that in Italy uses to snow on Alps, on Appennini Mountain, in all the Northern regions and... in Sicily, on the Etna Volcano!!!!

Hello Silvia,

Your timing is very good for capturing splendid lights on this wonderful landscape. I like silhouettes of hills while covered with snow especially the golden light at end. The house helps to scale your wonderfully taken photo correctly. Very good one, congratulations.

I worship easts and sunsettings. These two mystical trials exert on me gigantic impression. In the photograph more often I show different visages of solicitation of the sun. Here I admire fantastic east of this splendid star. The splendid scale of colours covered mountainous backs. Beautiful spectacle!

I hope you will continue TE to share with me Bulgaria's posts, especially special day like this before the new year and seeing such a wonderful scene of soft mood. The dim light maybe difficult to handle but I see that you did very nicely to show us the kind of softness on the landscape really impresses with tones and layers of greyish on the mountains.
