The seagulls are (obviously) very tame here so didn't mind me going so close to take this photo. In the background are the Kaikoura Mountain Ranges.

Nice composition, good capture of colours and light. The seagull provides a nice counterbalance to the vast mountains in the background.

It is a beautiful seagull “portrait” with nice warm colours. The background is nice too and adds a good sense of depth. The sky seams a bit overexposed and noisy (in my monitor). Overall, it is a well done photo.

Great shot, Irene. I like the soft light and warm colours of this peaceful scene. A good balanced composition with great sharpness. I would have been tempted to crop some of the sky, but all in all, it's a very pleasing shot.
