Photographer’s Note
An evening view of Calgary cbd, from the Calgary Tower. There are some minor reflections in the glass. Shot from inside the Calgary Tower, just before sundown. From Wikipedia:
"Calgary (IPA: /ˈkælgriː/) is the largest city in the province of Alberta, Canada. It is located in the south of the province, in an area of foothills and high plains, approximately 80 km (50 mi) east of the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. The city is located in the Parkland region of Alberta. Calgary is the third largest civic municipality, by population, in Canada. As of the 2008 civic census, Calgary's population was 1,042,892.[3] The metropolitan population (CMA) was 1,162,310 in 2006,[4] making Greater Calgary the fifth largest census metropolitan area in the country."

Hello Chris,
Nice panorama view about Galgary, high above all skyscrapers.
You use the way good as perspective, these leads us very far to the background.
Colour and presentation are very well, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

Hello Chris,
A rather busy scene overlooking the city! Too busy for my eyes as there really is not much to focus on as the lights take away the effect the taller buildings could have offered to the overall scene. Your PoV and exposure is excellent, an image for memory...

Hello Chris,
A nice cityscape. The timing is well chosen with light still in the sky; whilst the lights in the buildings and the moving traffic add another dimension. The latter also makes for a long deep perspective stretching across the city.

Hello Chris:
Calgary seems to have a nice skyline.
To be a picture through a window glass, you did it very good. It just seems to me a little overexposed, because the sky is bright blue and the city has its lights on --a thing very unusual in my experience, because normally when the lights are on, the sky is already dark blue. Of course I can't be sure because the info of your exposure is not available.
From your picture I can see that Calgary is a big city with a lot of life. Is it a place worth visiting?
Greetings,
Jürgen

Hi Chris,
The point of view takes our eyes toward the horizon wich is giving depth to the photo. It is also showing the details and colors of the highrise buildings near the Calgary tower. The light of the sunset is enhancing the colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

hi Chris
So you finally landed in Calgary! Funny, I had been staying here for quite a while but never been to a spot like this to see the skyline view or perspective.
Looks like nice color with this POV and when the lights in buildings are still on. Great shot.

Hi Chris. Your picture goes good with the note. I'm convinced about the numbers when I see your picture. Good pov to prove that. Timing is also good between at the end of the day: still enough light and the streetlights already on. Good combination and as always an interesting contribution.

Hi Chris, A stunning shot at the best time of the day. The street/building lights and the natural fading light make this a pastel image to admire. TFS. Murray.

Bonjour Chris,

Bien vu.
Bon dimanche.

I always like to see cities from above, it gives me the idea of its surroundings, of how it spreads around. So this picture has an important documentary value. Yet, due to the particular hour, there is some aestetic aspects: the soft but vivid colours, the light and of course the composition with its distribuition of spaces. ...And apart from the name, quite a different place from where I live! Best greetings,
