I know our good TE friend from Italy (Longroute) Donato is itching to get back to sea this spring so here is a image that I hope will hasten winter's passage.

Hello Tom,
Heh, he, let's write before Dear Donato see it. (We are using our time advantages only)
An excellently captured and carefully selected frame. I like splendid contrasts between white and blues on sea and sky but the reflections are just speechless as same the clarity and sharpness of your photo in natural colors. I'm sure this is great gift to Donato for next morning. Congratulations.
I wish good sail and trips to him at next season. Good luck you too, as I saw from your amazing captures from water side that you are on the canoe also all the time.
Friendly Regards,
Ertugrul

Hello Tom,
I would not compete with Ertugrul praising this image. He did it so well that any added would be just a repeat. My only comment related to the image low key tonality, which for me does not look natural. The photo is taken in sunlight and I could see dark shades however the photo is dark even its parts lighten by the Sun. It could be the result of using a circular polarizer. The image is sad and it suppose to celebrate being so beautiful. For me it would be interesting to see the image taken without polarized to separate its effect on the image tonality. I still believe the image deserve the WOW! smile.

Hi Tom,
A great capture and what a wonderful ripple reflection in the water. Great sun light ripple reflection on the side of the sail boat and lovely blue sky to high light the boat. Outstanding job Tom.
Warm Regards
Jason.

Ahoy Tom!
really thank you for this bright and sparkling picture and for the dedication. I'ts a nice composition ideed with the white hull contrasting with the deep blue sky and water. The reflections and ripples on the sea are so fine and reminds me of the view I used to see while living on board. I like how the masts lead the eye toward the beautiful sky with clouds and fill 2/3 of the photogram. But the real feature of this photo is the light, that summer light we are missing now.
My best greetings,
Donato

Hello Tom,
A great capture of this yacht and its reflections. I like the framing and the use of the vertical format. Very good light and colours. A reminder of warmer days to come.

G'morning, Tom,
wow, what fabulous clear color and sharp detail. I love those puffy white clouds floating around and those incredible reflections on the softly rippling water. This would definitely make a sailor anxious to get back out on the water. Beautiful! Many thanks and warm regards.

I love this one Tom. Not only have you got stunning reflections in the water, but the reflected light is jumping straight back up to be reflected on the boat. Excellent quality and great light.

Hi Tom,
A very nice shot here of a very quiet and peaceful sort of place. The vertical perspective works real well and the colors and details blend together well. TFS. Gerald

hi Tom,
Donato's right, the early autum light is very nice, I like a lot how it brings out the textures of the water and makes everything shine as if coated with silver. interesting how the vertical format in this particular case creates a feeling of wide open space, usually you'd need horizontal format for that. combination of blue and white adds to the optimistic mood, very nide dedication.
regards,
Kristine

Hi Tom
The light is very well handled for the time of day. The water is nicely reflecting on the boat.

HI Tom
Donato will surely love this.
The polorizer did its work and produced a great sky with good reflections.
Nice presentation.

Hello Tom,
Here you are with your favourite boats and water.
The light here is perfect, creating bright colours and wonderful reflections. I love how the reflected water is dappling the side of the boat.
A very good composition.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
