Photographer’s Note

During the various celebrations for the Christmas holiday to Mineo I unbeaten in the local band. The Association of Music "Luigi Pescetti" - City of Mineo was founded in 2007 with the mission to restore the ancient traditions that the country Mineo has always had for music band. The association is now a reality town ground that is beginning to spread beyond the walls civic vetuste. Admirably directed by the Master Newfoundland, the band boasts a varied repertoire and comprehensive, ranging from traditional marches parade, the most complex symphonic marches, until you get a suite opera, and, recently, the music is complex also has a vast repertoire of light music in a modern way.

troppo bella questa - ancora di piu' delle case colorate, se devo essere sincera... bel taglio, interessante la messa a fuoco sfalsata, ma soprattutto originale momento colto con attenzione.

Very nice picture with a good depth of field. The tight crop looks quite nice and it was a good choice to go with it although I feel the picture could use some more sharpness.

Hello Giorgio,
I like the angle you chose to show the off the band. It is too bad that the man in the rear was taken afoot and stepped further away from stride as he appears, it would be nice to see his face as well. The focus in the glasses is good, a welcoming image from your lens...

Niente Befane, niente belle donne, ma... bella fotografia.
Concordo con Paperina, la foto si presenta migliore di quelle delle case.

Tra l'altro, questi sono soggetti in movimento e risultano più difficili da riprendere in una posa che sembra essere invece ben studiata.

Qui tu hai "secondo me", reso artistico lo scatto che mostra diversi elementi.

Messa a fuoco sfalsata, riflesso negli occhiali e parziale vista dello strumento musicale del primo musicista, dando così dinamicità all'immagine.

La messa a fuoco sul primo musicista è davvero eccellente. Si contano persino le righe sul colletto della giacca.

Impressive composition. You have two clear areas of interest, plus a bonus view in the man's glasses. This is about as attractive as a marching band gets. I think your particular cropping has done it. Very nice presentation.

Portraits of musicians in one of my favourite subjects, that's why I have created a theme, "Music and dance" (I hope that you wouldn't mind if I include this photo). Excellent, unusual and very creative tight framing and composition, very artistic, beautiful reflection in the glasses (I think I can see you!) I really like the lining up here...the perspective effect capturing these guys liku you did.
From detailed face of first and just a small blurry impression of the last.
They create excellent composition and a feeling of a music parade.

grande idea e colpo d'occhio! Il soggetto della foto è concentrato sul riflesso dell'occhiale, la cui nitidezza viene enfatizzata dalla sfocatura del resto dell'immagine. Una foto fatta così bene non è mai casuale, ma frutto dell'esperienza fotografica. Bravissimo!

Ciao Giorgio.
Una volta si diceva "O ci sei, o ci fai", ti ricordi?
Bene, anzichè proporre un suonatore di banda pacioccone con il cappello all'insù o alle "23" e l'aria affaticata - ci sono sempre - ritrai due suonatori entrambi con l'aria di essere delle body guards (o dei picciotti?).
Sta di fatto che il tuo lavoro raccoglie (volutamente?) codici altri e ne genera un'immagine dura ma apprezzatissima.
Spiegami quindi questa interessante immagine, a meno che la mia analisi non sia una semplice infrastruttura mentale senza fondamento, e il tutto è frutto di abilità nel selezionare il casuale. A me interessa molto, nel tuo caso come in altri, capire il processo di ideazione dell'immagine.
