Photographer’s Note

Sigtuna river,
I've posted images from the same spot earlier and I'm probably going to again later on, next season. easy done as it is only 20 meters from my house.
Sigtunaån is about 2.5 kilometers long on the Gnesta. The river has its beginning in Lake Sillen and running since
along the town's eastern border down to the outlet in Frösjön. The river is also the parish boundary between parishes
Frustuna in the west and VårdInge in the east,

Terrific mood about this image with pinpoint detail and colours to suit. Looks very much like a black and white but that hint of red in the sky finishes this scene off perfectly.

A good followup to your previous post. I like this since it's darker and reminds me of some old gothic horror movie from the 70's (which is good of course). The contrast between the black water and white snow makes an perfect combination. Also it's great that the sky isn't burnt out, instead it has some beautiful evening colors. Great work

It must be great to live that near this river. A photo with a fantastic mood and a feeling of cold. In spite of the general dark impression, it has enough details in the shadows and very well controlled highlights. Thanks for sharing!

Cold winter and cold image, ordinary subject but great light and atmosphere, well captured, compliments Anders, from my "warm" country this view is fascinating, well done.

This is a great spot to have at 20 meters from your house. I can imagine you returning there to see the changes of nature. In this scene I like the dark texture of the water and just that little bit of colour at horizon. Good timing.
