Neue Schwanstein in Schwangau

"Regele basmelor”, asa cum i se mai spunea lui Ludwig al II-lea, a ramas in istorie drept imaginea ideala pentru conducatorii de state si visatori, pentru ingineri si poeti, datorita activitatilor sale constructive care dainuie si in ziua de astazi. Insa, se spune ca, din cauza constructiei castelelor sale de basm, dintre care face si Neuschwanstein (Germania), unde regele, la multi ani de la constructie, a petrecut doar putine nopti si a cheltuielilor astronomice pentru arta, s-a ajuns la golirea visteriilor statului si la falimentarea familiei Wittelsbach.
Lansand aceste amanunte la o parte, Neuschwanstein a ajuns cea mai fotografiata constructie din Germania si unul dintre obiectivele turistice cele mai vizitate, chiar ajungand pe lista celor 21 de candidate la “Cele 7 noi minuni ale lumii“.

This Castle is fantastic, fairy-tale-like and an excellent objetct for great pictures!
Your idea was superb and you have done an excellent photo job in here! Well chosen pov and very well elaborated composition!
Management of light was very good as well! Sharpness was adequate to create this magical atmosphere!

Ionela,
This is a great shot of this fine castle. The overhanging tree and branches in the foreground provide nice framing for the scene. I am not normally a fan of B&W but it was perfect for this shot! The lighting is great and the photo has nice sharpness and shows excellent detail.

Wonderful photo, when I look it I'm thinking about visiting this place again but in winter time. This is the real fairytale scenery when covered with snow! Good point of view, much more beautiful then from Marienbrücke!

A nice shot. I love this castle, the snow and the light makes all look so cold. You could have used spot measuring to get a better light effect on the picture
