Photographer’s Note
I took this photo in the late evening, it was very windy and raining and I had no tripod. So I´m really pleased with the result (I took about 15 photos to have one good!).

Hello Nina,
What a dramatic shot, with Edinburgh's iconic castle standing at the crest of the city's acropolis. It has been 14 years since I saw this image in real life, and I am happy to see exactly how large and sprawling it is in this panoramic photo. The light management is excellent.

lighted castle looks floating on the dark blue sky.
this image is quite like in the mysterious tale.
the bird of this old building now spreads its shining wings into the dark flow of the time.
