Hello Eric,
You have chosen an effective vantage point to show so many aspects of the scene — the sunlight reflecting from the bottom of the bridge, and in turn the in water, the seemingly frozen city, a Dali-like sky. Indeed, if you know Salvador Dali's Sacrement of the Last Supper, the background is evocative of this superb shot.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Photo très curieuse, avec ce "soleil" qui semble briller à travers un tablier de pont transparent ....
Ce serait intéressant de montrer dans un workshop les images d'origine, qui ont permis le montage HDR
Merci de cette image suprenante !!

The HDR is great for this--it's very detailed and colorful in all parts of the frame. The sun reflecting off the bridge underside is especially nice. It was worth standing out in the cold for! (I can say that--I didn't have to be out there.) Regards, Ken.

Hi Eric,
this is a HDR picture where I can say that it looks natural and the light is beautiful. The composition with the bridge and the well chosen proportions reminds me of a Edward Steichen pic of Brooklyn bridge, I think.
Compliments, Christian

Hi Eric,
I like this it has a very futuristic feel about it. Wonderful with the frozen bits on the water, and the orangy light filtering through the gap in the bridge and upon the skyline breaking the almost monochromatic nature of the rest of the cityscape. Nice!

Eric
Un POV très original,de très belles teintes et des reflets splendides. La profondeur de champ est peut-être un peu juste, les immeubles en arrière plan étant légèrement flous.
Amicalement et bonne année 2009

Salut Eric! Wow this is great, it cannot get any colder :))) Love the soft light that winter gives us back and that belongs to my favorite lights actually. Excellent idea to include the bridge and I can see some sunlight on the concrete although it stays cold ... no question. Great view over to the Montreal skyline. I have visited Montreal one winter. I thought this was a great experience. Surprisingly the summers are hot and humid; looking at your picture this is now hard to believe. Excellent photo work, I like it a lot. Best regards, happy New Year ... Barara.

Hi Eric
Good shot due to its POV and of course of the contrast of the refelecting orange sun and the general grey atmosphere.

Hello Eric,
A very original view brought with great composition and light management. The high horizon, the patches of ice on the water, and the golden light on the bridge all contribute to make this a great view.

Paul

Hi Eric,
Wow, what an unusual perspective! I don't think I've ever seen a shot taken from this vantage point. Awesome colours, great atmosphere, simply perfect.
Thanks for sharing, best wishes
Claudia
