35 minutes à peine après le TE gong de minuit! C'est presqu'un exploit :-)))
Et quelle superbe photo pour commencer l'année!
On peut dire que tu régales ceux qui se sont levés tôt.
Ta photo est superbement composée, empreinte d'une magnifique lumière et sous un très beau ciel bleu.
Reste à souhaiter que 2009 soit à son image... On peut rêver le premier janvier, non?
Que tes rêves à toi se réalisent en tout cas!

Et bonne année 2009. Le très grand angulaire fait des merveilles quand on sait le tenir à peu près à l'horizontale... C'est une vue peu classique du mont, d'autant plus réussie! Pas un chat à l'horizon... Il faut juste savoir se lever assez tôt!

Hi Didier,

Only one rock? Well OK. It is a big one. This is a unique view of the Mont. I like the intimate detail of the chapel here and those wispy clouds bring everything together as does the green & red foliage in the center - but you already knew that.

Hi,
the colors really stand out here. They are so strong yet do not appear to be overly saturated. The composition is fantastic with a wonderful contrast between one the one hand the rough boulders and the church and on the other the calm, "soft" sky and a beach.

This is a great shot of this fine chapel. The lighting is outstanding creating nice warm colors throughout the shot. The vertical format was a perfect choice here allowing us to see the beach and the colorful rocks.
The sky is great and you used it to your advantage here.

Quelle lumière splendide pour éclairer ce chapel si mignon. Les nuages sont superbes et remplissement parfaitement le vide du ciel et ajoutent de la profondeur.

Hello Didier,

Une vue au grand angle qui permet de donner une très belle importance à cette chapelle couverte de lichens. J'aime d'ailleurs beaucoup la part de jaune que cela crée dans l'image bien que le rouge me sied mieux ! ;-)

Quelle lumière ! Le soleil réchauffe les pierres de la chapelle et donne de belles couleurs aux rochers. J'aime beaucoup le cadrage et ce beau ciel filamenteux. Bonne année 2009 à toi.

Wow, beautiful shot! The composition is really good, with the dividing line between the building and the distant beach going right down the middle. I like the sense of depth or 3 dimensions that this shows us too, and the lighting is wonderful. Excellent work!

If you don't mention it, I wouldn't know this is from our famous Mont Saint Michel. Not a tipical POV, I like it it show more detail of an area. Great quality, I like the composition with light illuminating the structure and the distant landscape, the sky and cloud is lovely. I like how the cloud seem to go toward the house as if there is a source of energy drawing the cloud toward it and therefore draw our attention to your subject. Love it.

Between the clouds, the multitude of shapes within the rocky hillside, the sand swirl beneath the Chapel, and the Chapel itself, it is hard to place one's finger on what allows this image to stand out on its own. Everything is perfect, the exposure, and the compositional elements as well...
