Photographer’s Note
Rubina, this is the name of the girl in the photo, lives in Gehling. She was always smiling. Behind her, up on the hill, the Ghompa of the village. Inside some monks were finishing a sand mandala...Rubina didn't want me to go inside the monastery. She wanted I stay with her. Joking. Trying to learn her language....She pronounced some words and she laughed everytime I tried to repeat what she told me.
I was a funny, mazy afternoon...
