That's my favourite picture! I've shooted it after the rain, as you can see, there still are some waterdrops. Well the best thing shooting this pic happend, that I had forgot to turn off the flash, (as I wanted to save some energy), but the flash gave such a nice and pure reflections in waterdrops, that now I'm always using flash shooting flowers :)!
By the way, I was wondering to convert it to B/W, than that blue becames quite white and green - black, but couldn't decide how to act, so if somebody wants to try, to see how it looks in B/W, please, do the workshops! |

Good macro...I'm waiting to see it in BW ... otherwise the "teardrops" seems to twinkle like a star. Well done Ptah!
i can trully understand why it is your favorite.its an amazing shot, very nice colours, nice DOF,i like the rain drops, very well done!
Yes, that's very nice on the dark background. I'm not sure it would be so good in b/w without the colour contrast. The flower is quite dark in places - it will appear grey rather than white, I think. But maybe you could do some clever stuff, adjusting the blue levels separately...
Very beautiful, with very nice blues and definition.
Congratulations!

Nive macro. Beautuiful colors, and the touch of water adds freshness...
