The strange karst landforms of weather limestone at dawn, just before 6am. The nets in front maybe fishing nets or safe swimming areas, unsure which.

WS shows a close up view of those strange limestone pinnacles.

This is what I have been planning to visit for quite a long time but not yet accomplished. Maybe in 2009, according to my wish list!
You have here an excellent view of the famous rock scenery with beautiful colours and nice composition.

Hi Murray,

The presence of the boats haa an effect of scale. The point of view leads our eyes toward the karst landforms in the background which is giving depth to the photo. The different types of lines and of geometric shapes are assets to the composition. The light dawn has a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Beautiful view of Halong Bay with a different POV than I have seen. I like the the very subdue color and light, giving it that mistic atmosphere. Good composition using the rule of third. thanks
