Photographer’s Note
Here's a photo of the beautiful snow covered tracks that we crossed while in the Grand Canyon. I thought it would look good as a B&W photo, even though the color version was nice too.
I did alter the photo a bit by taking the power lines out by using the copy tool, and sharpend a bit. I blew this version up to place on my wall, a nice addition...

Hi Nicole,
Not a typical Grand Canyon shot but interesting just the same. I like the somewhat off-center placement of the tracks, with some symmetry present at the same time. I wonder if cropping the top part where there's nothing but sky might even have enhanced the focus on the tracks and the diagonals of the shot? Just a suggestion though. And I think you were right to make a b&w shot, though it might not have been very different in colour...

Hello Nicole, excellent shot I like a lot the winter frozen atmosphere the depth and the perspective given from the railways. Very well seen and captured. Thanks for sharing.
