The Ancient Town of Shuhe is located 4 kilometers to the northwest of the Ancient City of Lijiang. In 1997, the Ancient Town of Shuhe was ranked as an important part of the Ancient City of Lijiang which was already the World Cultural Heritage then by the Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization of the United Nations. The Ancient Town is now a national AAAA level scenic spot and one of the National Key Protection Units of Cultural Relics.


people here who have home both side walkway mostly make business like shop or restaurant.Look like they open and close late so there's no shop opening in the morning so we see the town quite clear without many tourists :)
