Finally we were right to think it was possible.

After a start on friday at noon in Seattle, going to Mt St Helens, Columbia river gorge, Mt Hood,Painted Hills,Burns, The Steens mountains, Alvord desert,Lakeview, Crater lake,we had the unexpected pleasure to find a couple hours to drive to the shore before returning to PDX for a flight to France on tuesday morning!

It is not of course the best conditions, I would have prefered 10 days minimum for this large 1500 miles buckle in Oregon, but it was 6 days Paris-Paris or nothing...

I wish I could drive on Oregon roads every sunday with my camera, because it is truely an amazing state!
Some of you are quiet lucky I find...(to spend so much time in the painted hills for example)
I hope weather conditions on the west coast are improving this sunday.
