Typical facades of Amsterdam houses.
You can find these facades with their stone tablets and gsbles everywehere along the Amsterdam canals.
Most of them date back tot the 17th century.

Today Christians all over the wordl celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. For long times this event is associated with the longing for peace.

To all my TE friends and all who visit TE, Christians and non-christians, I wish peace and hope for a better world in our days.

Hoi Jan Willem,

Ik zie altijd veel gelijkennisen tussen Amsterdam en Brugge.
Nochtans zijn de archtectonische verschillen zeer groot.
Jij bewijst hier met deze voorgevels dat Amsterdam een rijkelijk verleden achter de rug heeft.
Ik weet niet precies wat men tussen de gebouwen heeft gemonteerd maar tegenover de gevels is dit een afknakker.
Maar uw foto is mooi scherp en goed van kwaliteit.
