Happy Christmas to you too :-) Thanks for simple, nice portrait - without the snow. It makes unforgetable, that somewhere, there are Christmas in the big sun, in the high temperature, and people may not to know, what the *** is "snow". :-)

Hello Elaine,
A very fine portrait, and not just because the girl is immensely cute and has a lovely smile. It's a picture that makes me feel happier as I'm off to work in a short while, spending most of Christmas day at my office.
I wish you a continued pleasant Christmas and a fine new year.
Gert

Hi Elaine, As you say, a straightforward portrait, but one that works due to the girl's engaging face and the great detail. Perhaps a shame the the BG is so similar in colour to her as she merges in a bit. cheers, Steve

Hello Elaine
She looks so much Indian! Are you sure this is from Myanmar? :-) Her skin tone is also so Indian...the only thing Myanmar-ese (I hope the term is correct) is the thanka on her face & neck. A gem of a portrait as always..hopefully we can smile in 2009!
Best Regards
Angshu
