Photographer’s Note
Merry Christmas to all TE members! Hopefully it won't be a lonely Christmas...
This photo was taken in a blizzard in the Tatra Mountains, Poland. No more than 10 minutes earlier the skies were clear and we were enjoying blue skies and sunshine! This was my first experience of the Tatras and we did an easy walk from Zakopane up to the frozen lake of Czarny Staw Gasienicowy and back. This was the scene on our approach to the mountain hut at Hala Gasienicowa.
I don't usually frame my photos but thought i would try it out on this one, hope you enjoy it.

It looks like you have the same kind of weather than here in Switzerland... Interesting is that you can see that the sun is not far away, the shadows are present. I like it ! Thanks for sharing ! And Merry Christmas to you too !
