Photographer’s Note

Situated at the south-eastern part of the island of Kekova, Karloz provides a perfectly sheltered anchorage. Nature at its best; no pubs, nothing but nature... ;-)

Best time to stay there is during the weekends, where gülets ( for exlanation: -> http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Middle_East/Turkey/photo99946.htm)
are in the harbours in order to pick up new guests.

You enter the bay from south and simply follow the small fjord in zigzag. Water qualitiy is fabulous. At the outer part the anchor lies on 20 to 25 meters; more inside on 6 to 15 meters.

Try to be there at nights without moonlight, the view to the milky way is spectacular.
