Good morning Animesh,
Very dramatic composition and B&W improves the effect. I liked the DOF and light on the Ocean.
One of the most dramatic San Diego Photos I saw by the way.
best regards

Hello Animesh,
They came by in perfect composition. The result of many trial shots I suppose. Well done with this dark background sky.

Hi Animesh
nice to see you posting again. Dark mood...
You´ve been very close with a 28mm. I see majorly 2 layers: 1. the big bird in the foreground and 2. birds, sky, clouds and a bit of the sea in the background. For this reason I would probably shape the big bird with a bit more contrast or vignetting.
Best wishes
Frank

...Another bites the dust...making the layers of silicon do the work eh..?? i remember reading a review claiming the 28mm f1.4 was blacked-out out for national security purposes...wonder why ??
was only imperative that you'd go for a fast lens..so much you even with the big beast.
Maybe a little more contrast defining the wings of the closest bird..almost kissed it..
you could do that selectively working with layers..love this "digital" shot..the surburst on the surface is just magnificient..
Take care Animesh.

"The Birds"
Good, ol' Alfie couldn't produce it any better, or...
How to make N200 working like Leica, eh ?
It's hard not to like it.

Aargh, Animesh has gone digital!
I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that with film you wouldn't have had those nasty burnt-out highlights, but otherwise this is a great shot - superbly atmospheric.
Hard to bring order to such a random thing as birds in flight, but here the positions of the birds in the frame seem to work together in a harmonious way. The foreground in particular is well placed.
Nice work.
Cheers,
Ben

great point of view. the big sky filled with birds is very interesting. the high contract black and white works well, but i think the sky and clouds might be a little too dark as the birds almost blend in.

Something mystical here... I love the way the birds are "arranged" in the frame... Best Regards.
