They walk miles back from school to home. I drive by on the motorbike. I know all I have to do is stop and ask. They agree. Some shots are better than others. Reading, Writing, Math... But the rice paddy is still in the background.

Hi Caleb. Yes, long time no see. But so many photos and then there is the factor "available time". Anyway, very good one. Very well positioned and you have captured a genuine smile, something I don't see every day.

I find the picture a little too dark so I did a WS. Other than that this is a nice picture with good composition.

This image has an authenticity about it. The slightly crooked collar, the tie not straight, the genuine smile etc. Good tonal range. too.

Your choice of DF has really singled out your subject matter from her surrounding environment which I like. I also really like how you've chosen to situate her to the right of the frame it balances the image out well.

great to have such a background behind this pupil;-) that makes a lot to the interest of this shot IMO;-) maybe contrasts and light could have been pushed a bit on the girl?
