Photographer’s Note

Christmas Markets: The main Christmas market is the Santa Llucia market, which runs from December 2nd to Christmas Eve. It has a selection of unusual arts and crafts gifts that you will not find at home. It is right in the shadow of the cathedral so makes for a lovely shopping experience as you can combine it with some sight seeing too!. You will also be able to choose a Caganer or Caga Tió from a wide selection, for a truly Catalan addition to your Christmas!

If you are a bit if a foodie, no trip to Barcelona would be complete without a trip to the famous Boqeria Market, just off Las Ramblas. It is not a special Christmas market, it is open all year, but you will no doubt be able to pick up some seasonal treats while experiencing a feast for the senses!

Hi Maria,

You are a bit in advance to wish Christmas (and a bit late to comment other people photos...that's why, I guess, this one received so little attention)
Well here, I like very much the colors of the writings in fusion, the play with the transparency, and the tight frame. That's elegant, mysterious and joyful. An inviting image for a celebration.
