Photographer’s Note
This is yet another image from the Royal Palace complex in Phnom Penh.
Silver Pagoda and the Royal Palace complex is the finest example of buddhist architecture in Phnom Penh. To a certain extent it resembles its counterpart in Bangkok (but it gets far less visitors, which allows for a more private experience). There are several buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens where you can wander around. The complex dates back to the end of 19th century, and was partly preserved by the Khmer Rouge to demonstrate that they concerned about Cambodia's cultural richnes, so it is one of the few places in Cambodia where the traditions and richness of Khmer civilisation can still be seen.

Hi Michal!
Great shot of this fantastic building.I've been there exactly one year ago for the second time but I was not lucky with the weather like you.
Great POV!!!!

the yellow of the flowers are a nice touch and fit with the color of the palace. It's a chance that you were able to shoot without any tourist in the frame.
which did you prefer? Silver Pagoda or the Palace?
see you!

Michal,
Compositionally this one is much better than the last post. I like it, good quality technically, good sharpness and better management of light. Excellent details overall, I still feel that there is a little too much yellow tone. Maybe that just the way it is. I'll get over it :) Beautiful.

Hola Michal,
This is lovely!
This palace building is absolutely gorgeous. You composition and perspective is tremendous—the garden with the yellow flowers in the f/g complement very gracefully the whole scene. Superb clarity and definition.
I like this one a lot. Compliments :)
