Very good pov, with the fall very sharp behind the person.
I think a slightly larger view, with more fall and a smaller size of the person, would have improved the picture

Bonjour Mickael,

La photo est impressionnante. Peut-être ton camarade aurait-il dû regarder la cascade pour rendre la photo encore meilleure plutôt que de fixer l'objectif : en admiration devant la chute d'eau, cela aurait encore renforcé cette impression de puissance.
Les couleurs sont superbes.

Impressionante , cette photo ! Et elle montre bien la puissance de la cascade , comme tu le dis . Et le marcheur est nécessaire à la composition : il donne une échelle , et complète l'image . C'est très bien .

...and I can see why! Well seen - the force and magnitude of the waterfall really comes to life with the person standing in front of it plus the fact that the water fills out the entire background!

I had a look at some more of your marvellous pictures of Iceland. This one is absolutely stupendous. Superb exposure, very sharp. Nice light, and good composition. The water looks so enormous and powerful beside the man. Great work.

c'est vrai que d'habitude on se rend moins compte du débit hallucinant de la chute. Mais le personnage au premier plan, en donne une bonne mesure.

As soon as I clicked on Page 1 of your gallery I was lost in the waterfall images; one of my favourite subjects. This must be the most powerful image I have see. The water is pounding and your friend seems so tiny next to it. You are perfectly justified in including him there, as without him, most of the feeling of power would be lost.

Mickael,
This is very impressive, I can feel the power of the waterfalls from this little image. Having your friend in there really help the composition and a good placement for him. He served as an anchor point, perhaps if he is looking toward the waterfalls where we see only his profile will make it less like a portait in from of the falls. No matter what, it's still a very nice shot with great quality.

hello Mickael,
including a person in the frame certainly helps the viewer to appreciate the scale and how big the waterfall is. the level of detail is amazing, I keep expecting droplets of water in my face. the photo feels a little dark though, but that might be due to the screen I'm looking at.

une photo de mon pays favori avec un des endroits les plus impressionnants. Le cadrage semi serré est bien adapté. Une capture parfaite de lumières difficiles. On entend presque le fracs des eaux.

bien cadré et ici tu optes pour une pose rapide pour bien montrer l'intensité de cette cascade.
Pour ma part,j'aurais cadré un peu plus large,juste pour voir la hauteur(si c'était possible)
