Photographer’s Note

Kalpa is a place where you could view the Kinnaur-Kailash range from any point.It was just day before the fullmoon. That evening the mountain range took a golden hue. It was marvelous. Slowly the twilight turned into darkness and the moon already present in the sky became brighter.

Amazing shot. I went there in winters a couple of years back. These mountains look so huge and beautiful.

Hello Somnath,

Colors are great and this mountain is so beautiful.
The moon is well placed in your picture but it is amazing how big it is for a 75mm focal length.

Fantastic shot! THe warm light from the mountain with the lovely dark blue as bg and clearless of the moon make this an excelent photo.

this is absolutely amazing. You have really captured the colors well. The POV is interesting as well.

the composition and subject is great. but the pp work is not done well - the edges around the moon & the mountains is not well concealed. i hope i am wrong - but i think the sky is over processed. sorry for being harsh.
