A remarkable instant! The sky is awesome. I am just not sure oabout the choice of DOF. If you wanted the man out of focus i think that I would have prefered a larger apperture, because here it looks like it's a bit blured (the clouds show it's not in fact).
The result is still very nice!

Bonjour Assi,

quelle image incroyable! On pourrait croire à un scénario catastrophe en devenir.
La prise de vue est très efficace: composition bien structurée, contrastes et couleurs bien dosés, belle lumière aussi. J'aurais bien aimé que le personnage central soit plus net pour aider à l'établissement des plans.
Tout de même du très bon travail!

I'm quite sure you played with the curves and all in a good PP software, but still! That wall of rain just in front of the small, tenny-weeny, lilliputian boat there: frightening! The guy's not so sharp? Truly, it doesn't bother me at all! The sea doesn't seem to be too agitated.
Impressive, to say the least!

Wah! Assi - the first time I've seen this one - what an amazing iconic image - beautifully rendered and nicely framed by yourself. I think I might have been tempted to give a little less water at the bottom just to make him a little less secure but really this is just stunning and into my favourites too for the year! His stance against the sky is just perfect!

Looking at your pictures of Lima I found this one. It is really and amazing picture, but it in my 30 years or more that I lived in Lima, I must say it is a false one.
I have really hunted such images in Lima, and as you can see in my gallery, I have not found such a picture opportunity ever in the city or the surroundings. Even in the family albums, there is not such a picture to be found showing so impressive a backdrop of clouds. By the way, in Lima never rains, and never is never. Maybe once every 25 years or so, lasting some 45 minutes, is as much as a real rain Lima encounters. So it just can't be.
Now, can you explain me how you did it? I'm curious.
