I had just arrived in USHUAIA! We had a lovely and warm reception at the airport! The night was falling and I got out of the airport and had my first views of the place! Here's one of them!

What a fabulous winter scenery and sunset (I suppose) with beautiful place and the mountains behind. Spectacular panorama with marvelous yellow sky. Beautiful colors, sharpness, clarity, fantastic depht and perspective. Wonderfully executed image. I love it. Thanks for sharing. Awesome!!!!

Hi neyvan. A place I would love to see especially since an old fellow i know visited Puntas Arenas to see his brother who lives there. It transpires that there is a large Dalmatian community there, all fishermen from an Adriatic island. Mind you, I got somewhat upset when my wife informed me that it was the Croats who were very keen and efficient in exterminating the tribes living in the region. Great sky and magical panorama. whwen I see the superb photos you post from the South America, specially from Tierra del Fuego, I dream... Ushuaia, the mythical in many tales of F.Coloane, Sepulveda, B. Chatwin. I like this capture, specially the warm and soft tones of the sky.

Hi Ney,

I always wish I had more time when I was in Argentina a couple of years ago so that I could also come here, but I only had two week vacation, so many places to see. Anyway, this is a beautiful shot, I love the contrast of the warn color in the sky and the cold atmosphere of snow mountian and foreground. Excellent quality and well managed light and good composition.

Bonjour Neyva,

J'aime beaucoup cette composition, surtout au niveau de la couleur spectaculaire du ciel. Ce jaune est assez rare et les montagnes couvertes de neige sont très photogéniques.

Good sharpness & a superb sunset backdrop of orange skies. Excellent shadow detail & the orange witches hats at left echo the sky color. Well composed using the rule of thirds. Tfs!

Hello Neyvan,

The first thing that caught my eyes was the color contrast between the sky and the mountains.The beautiful orange and yellow tones of the sky look spectacular. You have chosen a nice spot to capture this panoramic view.The orange cones also add adidtional interest.A high quality image with superb colors and atmosphere.

wow, its amazing that this was photographed in July!
with all that snow, it looks very cold here.
the golden/orange light at the top is trying to heat up the atmosphere, but is it working? only you know if it was cold :)
what also strikes me is how empty and vacant the local area is.

também cheguei lá ao entardecer e o choque do frio foi brutal, na esteira de apanhar malas o vento gelado entrava dando boas-vindas.
bom contraste entre os tons cizentos da paisagem e os tons dourados do fim do dia.
