On my last day in a remote town called '' Caviahue '' in the Province of Nuequen Argentina I decided to go for a late afternoon walk - came across this handsome horse on the side of the road - I was attracted by his beautiful colour against the golden blades of the grass - he was not interested in looking at me - I would say he was on a mission to get home.

Hello Dawn,

The subject is so appealing and, as you say, the colours are lovely; the brown tones of his coat help to reveal the contours of his body.
You have a sharp focus on the horse, with the b/g nicely blurred to be useful but unobtrusive.
If you don't mind, I would suggest to make the composition better, you position the horse less central, so that he has room into which he can walk. I have demonstrated with a little w/s. See what you think.

And so you produced an ambitious photographic image with your little camera:) I like horses very much, I guess they know that the beauty is on their side, so no interest in gazing at people...Love the contrast in colours of the grass and the horse, indeed very handsome one :)

A pretty close-up picture from this cute
Horse. Picture has a good light
management and nice warm colors.
A nice extra is the movement in the
grass, it creates an extra depth in the
picture.

THe tight frame is putting the horse in evidence. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the horse. The quality of the light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Beautiful view of the animal. I like ow it was framed in the whole picture, with the great contrast between its dark brown color and the very bright grass. Fantastic, great sharpness, too. Good work, congratulations!
