Angel Falls

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I was in Venezuela in November, and despite it's bad publicity, I still recommend everyone to go there. Not only is it an amazing country, but also dirt cheap if you bring your dollars.
This photo is of Angel Falls, named after a pilot that crashed his plane there, and lost in the jungle, found the highest waterfall in the world; ANGEL FALLS, which falls 1 km into a pool below.
And for those visiting the falls, I HIGHLY recommend you do the 3 day tour. I was convinced by a salesman not to do the short flight that costs the same as the 3 day long trip, and out of the agencies, I would pick SAPITO TOURS because, surely, the service is the same as all the others, but the location of their two camps cannot be competed with.
In the Sapito Tours camp you wake up on your third day WITH THIS VIEW, like on the photo!!! |

Hi Thrudur!
Impresive view what you show us here. Technicaly not very exciting, probably thanks to resizing but the content of the photo is simply breathtaking, i like it a lot!

What an amazing place, the mist really gives a special atmosphere, the falls are barely visible, but knowing what it is is enough, nice low light, though because the fg is not sunlit, the lower hals came out on the dark side.
Beautiful image! Must have been amazing to see in person!
Wow. Nice POV and sales job for the tour company. This picture makes Venezuela look about as romantic as it can be. It is sad the beauty of the nation has been lost in the politics. Thanks for sharing.
