Una nena rasca iuca, una mena de tubercul com la patata, pero molt mes dura. Es passa tot el dia rascant per treure com un suc que despres fermentan i fan alcohol. La gent aqui es encantadora.

A kid is preparing yuca, something like potatoe but harder, all the day. It's a hard work, specially for a little kid. When the yuca is scraped, they prepare a alcoholic drink for the village men.

The people there, specially the children, was so kind and funny with us.

I tasted the drink, and I think never will do again.

Great shot Jordi! A good capture of a child at work. Nice DOF and the toothless (almost) grin is charming. Good work.

Somehow a depressing picture for me, inspite of the grin on the kids face.
