Photographer’s Note

This is taken from behind one of the bigger falls at the Angel Falls. The noise was overwhelming and absolutely no vision! I kept my camera in a small plastic bag and luckily it stayed dry.

You may discuss the quality of this picture... but the situation fixed here is unbelievable and unique. In pictures it looks as if the Angel Falls are falling some distance away from the cliffs, and finally create something like cloud. Do we see here the real Angel Falls?

Hi malin, nice shot but just a question, isn't taken behind Sato Sapo or la Hacha waterfall at canaïma rather then salto Angel ? ;-)
Nevertheless, having lived the same thing I at canaïma, I can confirm the noise and wind you have there...overwhelming is I think the right word. We had for this little excursion a special hermetic camera while the digital was at the campement. I wanted to Upload one by next week!!! Thanks for sharing nice memories
