When I was on a day tour in Los Roques last year, I saw these different layers of colors in the water and the sand (which is usually just white) and liked them. I wanted to include an extra element and saw this woman walking into the water. I just cropped the shot a bit and increased contrast.
Los Roques is an archipel in the Venezuelan Caribbean. You can go there by boat (it takes quite some time) and by a small plane (some 40 minutes from Maiquetía). You can go several days, but also on day tours which include the plane ticket, traveling in a katamaran to two keys, snorkeling, lunch and drinks. Los Roques includes about 300 keys, sandbanks and small islets, with crystal clear water in different blue, green, turquoise tones and fine white sand. There is basically only one island where you can find accomodations and some small stores: el Gran Roque.
Although tours or regular stays at Los Roques are expensive for Venezuelans, it is worth a visit. Just be sure to take your sunscreen with a high SPF: there are no trees anywhere and no shadow to take a break from the sun. Sometimes, tours bring a parasol with them so that you can enjoy the beach without suffering a sun stroke. If you're going to stay more than one day, administer your sun exposure so that you can enjoy the whole visit. I, for once, ended up with a sun allergy the first time I went and that day it was raining!

I added a WS to this pic. - to level horizontally - this should have been a beautiful pic., though.
Also raised illumination and saturation to enhance colors.

this one reveals a bit of your photographic sense. The way you composed, placing the girl right in the frame and chosing the vertical format please me very much. A good beach atmosphere. Well done!
