Photographer’s Note
In the bottom of the Maracaibo´s Lake theres a lot of canons from colonial times. This lake has been a silent witness of battles in the past ( from Spain Conquerors against Indians, Pirates against Spain Conquerors until the last The Liberator´s army against Spanish settlers). One of this canons was rescued by the builders of Intercontinental Hotel´s Del Lago and now it´s locating in the open areas of this beautiful hotel.
