This is a shot at the exit (and entrance) eo the Museo de Coro in the city of Coro. Coro, also known as Santa Ana de Coro, capital city of Falcón State, is a World Heritage Site. It is characterized by a beautiful colonial architecture and walls painted in eyte-catching colors such as those seen on the shot. I liked the framing here and the combination of the arched entrance and the rectangular door on theother side of teh street, as well as the eye-catching colors of the wall and the door. I also have another shot without anyone, but decided to post this one.
From the Unesco site:
"With its earthen constructions unique to the Caribbean, Coro is the only surviving example of a rich fusion of local traditions with Spanish Mudéjar and Dutch architectural techniques. One of the first colonial towns (founded in 1527), it has some 602 historic buildings. "
Sadly, it seems to be in danger of being excluded of the world heritage sites.
The Museo de Coro (Coro Museum) is located in a colonial building where Simon Bolivar, the national hero, stayed on December 23, 1826, in his only visit to the city. There is a famous balcony called "Bolivar's balcony" where he greeted the patriot forces. The Balcon de Bolivar was decreed National Monument on March 22, 1966

I really like the POV on this shot through the darkened doorway. The colors through it are so clear and well done. Good lighting and wonderful contrast. Nice capture! Kind regards,

Good use of the natural arch to help frame this image, makes for an appealing composition. Great contrast of the green and blue with white trim, and I love the silhouette. Well done!
