DRY SEASON SUNSET Photo

Photographer’s Note

The same little tree at the peak of the dry season. As you see, it has shed all of its leaves to prevent water loss. The Savannas are in a dust storm. The feeling is dry and desolate. I often forget where I placed the tripod before or after a shot so now I place a mark so I can find it fast. However, if the light is not right, well I move the tripod where I can get the results I am looking for.

You are obviously a good technical photographer, but you seem stuck on picturesque postcard shots. (I guess that's what you're probably into.) Perhaps though, with all of your skill, you could make some more challenging images.

What to say about sunsets? Some like them, some don't... This one is absolutely stunning! I particularly appreciate the sharpness of the tree.

If there was a -hair- more detail in the lower part of the shot this would be without flaw. Lovely, regardless, great colors, great scene, wish I'd been there to see it with you.

WOW! you really nailed this one. I don't care for most sunset shots. But this cannot be passed by. Well done.
