Photographer’s Note

I took this one in "Las Aguas de Moisés", a tourism complex situated in Sucre state. I just loved the pose of the old man taking a rest and enjoying the water. With all due respect, I think he looks like the Chinese Buddha statues.

Las aguas de Moisés is situated at the shore of the Buena Vista lagoon, some 45 Km from Cumaná. It is fed by springs which form natural swimming pools, most of them with therapeutic sulphurous waters. There are also fish farms and a natural aquarium.

I sharpened and increased contrast. I cropped a bit to cut out a guy on the left. I would have prefered to have teh picture without the kid in the front, but I couldn't avoid him if I wanted to catch the pose

Hi Yvonne, there aren't so many humorous posts in TE (compared to categories as nature, daily life or architecture), so it's certainly refreshing to find a good funny one! Quality is excellent too. TFS, Daniel

It looks hot but the waterfall provides a welcome refreshment and we can see from this guy's attitude it's highly enjoyable. Not too bad about the boy, even considering you could clone him away easily, see WS.
