Photographer’s Note

Castillo San Carlos de Borromeo: Protecting Bay Pampatar is this castle, the most important of Margarita Island. Its construction on military planes Engineer Don Juan Betín, was in charge of Captain Carlos Navarro, who baptizes. It was built between 1664 and 1684.

I would try to reduce the yellow slightly.

great timing Ruben! the mogule just came as a cherry on the pie on this otherwise nice shot!

I might have just levelled the horizon to be evenly horizontal. it seems a little tilited to me;-)
nice colors and great light! It reminds me of some great vacations i spent there some years ago.

Great capture here - it should be in the Decisive Moment category! The sunlight on the gull's wings is lovely.

There is a bit of a yellow-green cast here, and the tower is off. (The horizon's fine.) So I did a small WS to see if I could work with it a bit. See what you think.

Hi Ruben,

A very interesting shot with quite some contrast going on there! Yeah, true. There is a minimal tilt to the left and the tower has some lense distortion. But nothing that couldn't be changed with some post processing.
And yes, the bird is spot-on!
