Photographer’s Note

Cayo del Agua, Argipelago de Los Roques.
After a wonderful trip all over the country in caracas we decided to have some days of completely relax and to get to Los Roques.
It is not the unique place in the world, but one of the sights that gives you an idea on how could be the paradise. Just fantastic. Many islands, one main island where to sleep, Gran Roque, and each day with a taxiboat you can get elsewhere, just have to choose between many and many little islands like that. In comparison with the rest of the country this is the onliest spot of venezuela where I saw international tourism (i have not been in isla s maragarita where tourism is also present) The majority of posadas are owned by foreigners.
But the atmosphere is anyway quiet wild and there are not horrible buildings or hotels like in other places. In many islands of los roques there are not people, it also depend by season, we were there in the "high" season and there were really few people, so can imagine in the low season..
