Photographer’s Note

Another shot I took in Cayo Herradura in La Tortuga, this time of a lighthouse, the only built structure on this islet. I like the curves of the water. You can also appreciate that the water is very clean, although not as turquoise as on other places of this paradise.

Rotated 1 degree counterclockwise and cropped accordingly, sharpened, contrast increased, blue hue removed, frame added.

yvonne,
a simple composition but the placement of the elements in this composition makes all the difference. i'd like to see the color to be a bit more vibrant, it has the potential if you take it through the post processing. nicely done.

Good,soft colouring hera and a very pleasant scene. The light is good, though a softer light would have enhanced the image more. I like the way you have placed the lighthouse in the frame as it balances the scene well. Good work.
