Photographer’s Note

Near Iboribó (Gran Sabana), Bolivar.
Our trip started in Caracas, where we rented a shy Ford Ka to travel all over around the country..
After a couples of days in Caracas and a stop in Ciudad Bolivar we tried to get to Iboribó (a small indios comunity 40km far from the main road that brings to Brazil) from where is possible to visit after a 30 min trip on the river, a wonderful and high waterfall.
From the main road to Iboribó the road was not paved and we had many difficulties, but finally we get there, even if we had to leave the car and follow for last two km walking because of the mud and our shy Ka, that untill there resisted very well..
Here one of the many paddle on that road, at the end of the day, almost arrived to Iboribó.
Looking at that puddle I saw this curious light effect, due to the sunset, and the camera took it perfectly, the light difference reflected on the puddle is really strange.
I cut a bit top and bottom sides of the photo and upgraded a bit the contrast.
