Photographer’s Note
The end of an unforgettable journey: on arrival in San Fernando de Apure I managed to get me a guy who, on an indescribable boat, took me downstream the Apure into the Orinoco as far as Caicara.
The infinity of the water surface at the confluence of both rivers is breathtaking, as breathtaking were the 150 litres of fuel onboard while my captain smoked one fag after the other. Smoking and refuelling the engine was pretty all he did: being a true "Llanero" he was not a man of many words.
At the end of the day, though, he gave me the chance to immortalize him against the wilderness of the Mother of all Rivers

Hello Olaf, very nice idea to keep the silouhette dark, almost mysterious, on a side of the frame, and the sun behind the clouds on the opposite corner.
Very good composition
